Monotech is excited to announce an opening for a talented and dedicated Interior Architect to join our dynamic team. This architect will be responsible for leading interior design projects both in the office and on construction sites, ensuring our spaces are not only functional but also aesthetically exceptional.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Planning:

  • Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts.

  • Create detailed plans and drawings using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (SketchUp is a plus).

  • Prepare and present design proposals, including mood boards, material boards, and color palettes.

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure design implementation aligns with the project plan.

• Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage interior design projects from conception to completion.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met.

  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to integrate interior designs with overall project plans.

  • Attend project meetings and provide input on design and construction issues.

  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and furnishings.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Produce detailed construction drawings and specifications for interior finishes, furniture, and fixtures.

  • Use AutoCAD and 3D modeling software to create accurate and detailed visual representations of designs.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on interior design aspects.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct site visits to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.

  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction process.

  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and within the project budget.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in interior design and project management.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (SketchUp is a plus).

  • Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and materials.

  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

• Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Additional Skills:

  • Experience with other design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
